At ChirPolly, we stand behind the quality of our Service. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested, approved, or denied. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.


1. Digital Subscription – Nature of the Product

ChirPolly provides digital subscription services delivered entirely online. Because access to the full Service is granted immediately upon successful payment, the product is consumed from the moment of purchase.

Standard "return" of a digital subscription is not possible. Unlike physical goods, digital access cannot be "returned" once granted. This is consistent with applicable consumer protection frameworks for digital products, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and EU Consumer Rights Directive provisions for digital content.

We offer a goodwill refund window for initial subscription purchases only:

3. Mandatory Technical Troubleshooting

Before a refund is approved, you must allow our support team a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve any technical issues you are experiencing.

Refunds will not be approved for technical issues until our team has been given a fair chance to resolve them.

This process typically includes:

  1. Submitting a detailed description of the issue, including screenshots or screen recordings where applicable.
  2. Cooperating with our support team's troubleshooting steps (e.g., clearing cache, testing on a different device or browser, re-installing the app).
  3. Allowing up to 72 hours for our team to investigate and provide a resolution.

If the issue cannot be resolved within this period and is confirmed to be a platform-side bug that materially impairs your use of the Service, a refund may be approved.


4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refund requests will be automatically denied in the following circumstances:

  1. Renewal Charges: Refunds are not issued for any automatic subscription renewal. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation instructions are available in Account Settings.
  2. Excessive Usage: If account logs indicate that you have substantially used the Service (e.g., completed more than 5 AI Tutor sessions or 3 curriculum modules during the refund window), this demonstrates meaningful consumption of the product, and a refund will not be granted.
  3. Rapid Purchase / Refund Cycles: Any pattern of subscribing, requesting a refund, and re-subscribing — regardless of the stated reason — will be treated as abuse of this policy. Such accounts may be permanently suspended without further refund eligibility.
  4. Misuse or Policy Violations: If your account has been suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service, you are not eligible for a refund.
  5. Change of Mind (After Window): Refund requests submitted after the applicable eligibility window, citing a change of mind or dissatisfaction, will not be honoured.
  6. Third-Party Purchases: Subscriptions purchased through third-party app stores (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) are subject to those platforms' own refund policies. ChirPolly has no ability to process refunds for such transactions — please contact the respective store directly.
  7. Promotional or Discounted Plans: Subscriptions purchased at a promotional price or as part of a special offer are non-refundable unless a technical failure is confirmed by our support team.

5. Access Revocation Upon Refund Approval

If a refund is approved and processed:

Refunds are processed by our payment processor, Paddle, and will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter with us is a violation of these Terms and may result in:
